Psychotherapy
Therapy is truly an investment and a gift to yourself. It's an opportunity to explore the "big questions" about what is most important in your life, especially if you've been feeling "stuck" or fatigued, or unable to fully experience and enjoy your life. Issues that I frequently explore with clients include the following concerns (many of which are inter-related):
Depression
Anxiety
Workplace stress and burnout
Aging, chronic illness, and end-of-life concerns
Grief and bereavement
Life transitions
Self-esteem and identity issues relating to early life trauma
Perhaps you've been experiencing anxious or dark thoughts that have been limiting your ability to take action or make a change to improve your quality of life. Maybe you're in the midst of a difficult life transition, coping with a sudden loss, or experiencing workplace or caregiver burnout, and finding it difficult to regain your emotional stability, energy, and well-being.
I draw upon different therapeutic methods and my training in mindfulness to collaborate on a unique approach to therapy for you - at your pace, and with your goals in mind. I provide a compassionate and supportive environment where we can work together to explore your concerns, discover your strengths, and develop strategies for change.
I am Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#11656) and I am currently taking on clients for one-on-one individual counseling sessions.
Fees per 50-minute session are $140.00 (Cdn) plus HST, payable by cash, Interact e-Transfer, or credit card. Services are also covered by most private insurance providers. Reduced fees on a sliding scale are available for those in need, on a limited basis.
Online videoconference sessions & in-person sessions are both available.
Please contact me for more information and for a free 30-minute phone/video conference consultation.
